The EuCNC & 6G Summit 2026 once again brought together Europe’s leading researchers, innovators, industry representatives, and policymakers to discuss the latest advances in 5G, 6G, experimentation platforms, and future communication systems. With more than 1,000 participants from over 40 countries, the event confirmed its position as one of the key international gatherings shaping the future of connectivity.

For 6G-TWIN, participation in EuCNC & 6G Summit 2026 further strengthened the project’s position within the European 6G ecosystem, particularly through its active contribution to discussions on Network Digital Twins (NDTs), trustworthy AI, and sustainable network architectures. Through demonstrators, workshop co-organisation, scientific dissemination, and cross-project collaboration, 6G-TWIN demonstrated its growing role in advancing and structuring the NDT landscape at the European level.

The presentation of the project’s co-simulation framework generated valuable exchanges on interoperability, experimentation workflows, and validation methodologies for AI-driven 6G systems. Interactions with researchers, industry stakeholders, and standardisation experts also helped reinforce synergies across European initiatives while providing valuable insights into the practical deployment and operationalisation of NDT technologies.

Throughout the event, 6G-TWIN was actively involved in several key activities:

🔹 6G-TWIN Booth – Visitors had the opportunity to discover the project’s latest demonstrators, including the recently released co-simulation framework designed to support advanced Network Digital Twin experimentation and validation. The booth served as a focal point for discussions with researchers, industry representatives, and fellow European projects.

🔹 Workshop 12 – NDTs for AI-driven 6G Systems – Co-organised by LIST and R2M Solution, the workshop brought together representatives from 14 European projects to exchange insights, present use cases, and explore opportunities for collaboration around Network Digital Twins.

🔹 Additional Workshop Contributions (WS6, WS9 and WS11) – Members of the consortium contributed to discussions on software architectures, standardisation, and sustainability, helping shape the broader conversation on future 6G systems.

🔹 Scientific Dissemination – A paper from project partner imec, entitled “Towards Trustworthy 6G Network Digital Twins: A Framework for Validating Counterfactual What-If Analysis in Edge Computing Resources” (NET2), was presented during the conference, highlighting recent advances in trustworthy NDT methodologies and validation approaches.

EuCNC & 6G Summit 2026 provided an excellent opportunity for 6G-TWIN to showcase its latest achievements, engage with key stakeholders from across the European research and innovation landscape, and contribute to the ongoing development of Network Digital Twins as a core enabler of future 6G networks.
