The 6G-TWIN consortium is proud to announce that its Smart Energy use case has been selected among the ten winners of the SNS JU Use Case Contest, with the awards presented during the EuCNC & 6G Summit 2026.

The contest highlights innovative use cases developed across the European Smart Networks and Services (SNS) community, showcasing the potential impact of next-generation communication technologies across a wide range of sectors and application domains.

The recognition of 6G-TWIN’s Smart Energy use case reflects the consortium’s commitment to exploring how Network Digital Twins and advanced 6G technologies can support more efficient, resilient and sustainable energy systems.

The consortium would like to thank Ramin Fouladi (Ericsson) for representing 6G-TWIN during the award ceremony, as well as all project partners whose contributions made this achievement possible.

The award also highlights the importance of collaboration across the SNS ecosystem, where projects, industry stakeholders and research organisations work together to shape the future of European connectivity and digital infrastructures.
