Within the framework of the 6G‑TWIN project, our consortium has actively contributed to international standardisation efforts in next‑generation mobile networks. These activities span two 3GPP release cycles, Rel‑19 and Rel‑20, and reflect sustained engagement across multiple standardisation workstreams.
Our consortium has submitted a total of twelve contributions, covering a broad spectrum of high-level themes. These contributions focus on improving network efficiency, strengthening API and security governance, advancing emerging security topics for future networks, and supporting trustworthy AI and ML‑related capabilities.
Together, these efforts demonstrate the consortium’s continuous participation in global standardisation and its commitment to enabling secure, efficient, and future-ready mobile network evolution.
About 3GPP
3GPP specifications cover cellular telecommunications technologies, including radio access, core network and service capabilities, which provide a complete system description for mobile telecommunications.
3GPP mission continues to be the creation of the Mobile Broadband Standard, with an increasing emphasis towards connecting the internet of things – whether the need is for ultra-reliable low latency communications at one end of the scale or for energy efficient low-cost, low-power sensors and devices at the other.
