On 24 February 2026, the 6G-TWIN project hosted the third session of its webinar series, jointly organised with the 6G-CLOUD project. The webinar explored how Network Digital Twins and AI/ML frameworks are shaping the design, optimisation, and operation of future 6G systems.
The session brought together experts from both projects to discuss how advanced architectures, data-driven intelligence, and cloud-native approaches can enable more autonomous, efficient, and resilient networks.
The webinar covered several key topics:
- An overview of the 6G-TWIN architecture and how Network Digital Twins can model and optimise complex network behaviour.
- A presentation on AI-driven multi-objective route optimisation, based on recent research using Dueling Deep Q-Networks (DQN) for teleoperated driving scenarios.
- Insights into the 6G-CLOUD architecture, focusing on its AI/ML framework and the integration of Network Digital Twins for scalable and intelligent network management.
- A round-table discussion exploring synergies between the two projects and the broader role of AI in future 6G infrastructures.
