Our partners LIST (the Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology) – Ayat Zaki Hindi – and Université de Bourgogne Europe – Iskander Zellagui – attended the 2025 edition of the IEEE GLOBECOM international conference in Taipei, Taiwan (8–12 December).

The event was an opportunity to present the following two papers, showcasing intermediate achievements of our 6G-TWIN project:
- Zaki-Hindi, A., Sottet, J.-S., Kumar, S., TURCANU, I., & Faye, S. (2025, September 9). A Modular Network Digital Twin for Radio Coverage Prediction: From Theory to Practice. IEEE Global Communications Conference 2025 (IEEE GLOBECOM 2025), Taipei, Taiwan. https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.17086138
- Zellagui, I., Senouci, S. M., El Korbi, . ines ., & HOSSAIN, S. (2025, December 18). Multi-Objective Route Optimization via Dueling DQN for Teleoperated Driving. IEEE Global Communications Conference (IEEE GLOBECOM), Taipei, Taiwan. https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.17973360

About IEEE Global Communications Conference: GLOBECOM is one of the IEEE Communications Society’s two flagship conferences dedicated to driving innovation in nearly every aspect of communications. Each year, more than 3000 scientific researchers and their management submit proposals for program sessions to be held at the annual conference. After extensive peer review, the best of the proposals are selected for the conference program, which includes technical papers, tutorials, workshops and industry sessions designed specifically to advance technologies, systems and infrastructure that are continuing to reshape the world and provide all users with access to an unprecedented spectrum of high-speed, seamless and cost-effective global telecommunications services.
The 2025 IEEE Global Communications Conference (GLOBECOM) was held in the lively and picturesque city of Taipei. Themed “Sustainable Communications for Ubiquitous Intelligence,” this flagship conference of the IEEE Communications Society featured comprehensive high-quality technical program including 12 symposia and a variety of tutorials and workshops. IEEE GLOBECOM 2025 also included an attractive industry program aimed at practitioners, with keynotes and panels from prominent research, industry and government leaders, business and industry panels, and technological exhibits.
