The second edition of the “Towards Sustainable 6G” workshop took place during the Sustainable Places 2025 conference (8–10 October, Milan), co-organised by the 6G-TWIN, 6G4SOCIETY, CENTRIC, COALESCE, IN2CCAM, 6Green, 6G-VERSUS and SUSTAIN-6G projects.

Building on the dialogue initiated in 2024, the session brought together a wide range of projects funded under the SNS JU and Horizon Europe frameworks to discuss how next-generation mobile networks can integrate sustainability principles by design. Presentations and discussions covered progress in energy-efficient 6G architectures, renewable energy integration, sustainable hardware, and life cycle assessment methodologies.

A key outcome of the workshop was the agreement among participating projects to strengthen collaboration in the coming months, fostering shared activities and joint contributions to the sustainable 6G agenda.

🎥 The full recording of the workshop is now available here, and a short post-event video and photo gallery can be viewed below.

Stay tuned for further updates on upcoming joint initiatives !
