On 20 June 2025, the 6G-TWIN project was presented to the public as part of the Dresden Science Night (Lange Nacht der Wissenschaften), one of the largest science outreach events in Germany.

The event, hosted annually by Dresden’s universities, non-university research institutions, and innovation-driven companies, opens the doors of laboratories, lecture halls, and archives to the general public for an evening of interactive discovery.

Throughout the evening (17:00–22:45), the 6G-TWIN project was showcased at the TU Dresden lab, attracting an estimated 200 to 400 visitors. The audience included families, former students, local citizens, and fellow researchers. Visitors had the opportunity to engage directly with 6G-TWIN researchers, gain insights into the project’s vision for AI-native 6G systems and network digital twins, and view dedicated project materials, including posters and demonstrations.

This participation contributed to strengthening the visibility of the 6G-TWIN initiative and fostering public interest in cutting-edge research on future connectivity infrastructures.

Further information about the event is available on the TU Dresden website.
