Last week, our 6G-TWIN project was prominently featured at Mobile World Congress 2025 (MWC25), where our partner VIAVI Solutions presented their latest advancements in RAN Digital Twin technology.

As part of the event, Chris Murphy (Regional CTO, EMEA at VIAVI Solutions) provided insights into the role of Network Digital Twins in optimising future wireless networks. His presentation highlighted how digital twins enable real-time network modelling, allowing operators to predict issues, optimise performance, and test configurations before deployment. These capabilities are particularly relevant for energy-efficient networking and tele-operated driving (i.e. the two use cases of 6G-TWIN), expanding the impact of digital twins beyond traditional network management.
